I've never had the Shiner Black, but I did put down the pitchers of Shiner Bock back in the day... You used to get a pitcher of the stuff in any good Texas college town bar for $3.50 at happy hour. I find the $8 per six-pack price of Shiner around here hilarious...
As you can see from my obscure rating system, you're not missing anything with the Shiner Black. Now Shiner BOCK on the other hand is some tasty brew, but yeah, a tad pricey 'round these parts.
