a gaming journal
Awesome pics ... thanks for the posts!! Grats on the Star Frontiers figs too btw ... such old skool coolness!!
Is that the Disney monorail repainted? Wow that table is awesome! is that an AAG game?
Thanks LoE! I just got an email today about another post-con piece of gaming goodness, more on that later!ACG: I don't know, but it's certainly cool! I asked and they said it "moved" each turn, if you notice the guy standing on the prow, he just stayed on there for the whole game taking pot-shots at zombies the whole time. AAG? It was a zombie game, I just don't know what rules...
The table with the plxi surface and the ships on it was really slick. It was a game covering the convoy actions in the North Atlantic during WWII. The convoy and it's escorts moved across the top surface and the attacking U-boats could dive and move around below while the escorts tried to depth charge them.
Right, obviously with so many pics I couldn't write them all up unfortunately! I liked the depth charges too, for those who didn't see them, they used magnets and string to have them 'float' below the surface, overall awesome sauce!
WOW .... I am so THERE next year !
I'm definitely going to have to step up and run a land based game with terrain so I can make the Gyro Table Goodness spread... Not a lot of terrain in my Jet or Galley games this year...
