Some Series 6...Finally!

After seeing many of you post your LEGO Series 6 figs I finally managed to snag some of my own. Maybe it's the previous five waves that have fine tuned my ability to decipher what figs are what by touch but I was five for five on this lot. Mind you, these are pretty easy ones to figure out this time around. I was very happy with the Djinn and the Statue of Liberty, those two are very cool, but the two warriors (Highlander and Centurion) aren't too shabby either!

As for the teddy bear-pajamas fig, well let's just say that was by request. I'm still looking out for the Robot, Minotaur, and Alien, but for now I'm satisfied. I gotta say though, Series 7 is looking to be my favorite of the bunch!

  1. The Genie, Highlander and Centurian are all perfect fantasy RPG bait too.

    1. Too true! The Highlander's sword is very cool, the Centurion has all kinds of goodies, and the Genie is, well, he's a freakin' Genie!

    1. Welcome aboard Engineer Jeff! There are a lot of gems in the older series but it seems with this one and next that they've really pulled together the whole line. Well, auto mechanic aside of course (though he does have a cool hair piece).

  3. Got my self 4 Romans now. I can see them laying siege to something in the future. Perhaps a pharaoh quest pyramid battling Anubis guards while trying to capture the pharaoh Marc Anthony and Cleopatra.

    1. That would make a great diorama! There's lot of figs in this series that scream for multiples; aliens of course, desperadoes, but my favorite would be a crew full of pink armored, attractive fem-clones!

  4. Ya we finally took the plunge on these as well. For us the issue has been finding them. Our local stores seem to be auto-sold out of these lil guys. But here on wave five we scored big. The other night though my wife and I snagged a whole pile of them (20 or 30 boosters). For us they aren't being shelved as collector gear, they go right into the pile o' legos for the kids.

The kids love them though they really enhance their RP potential with the legos :) My kids have that mastered and I didn't even teach them how to do it, they come up with all sorts of scenarios and whatnot. I get a kick out of just watching them come up with why Harry Potter is working with the girls from Lego Friends to combat the evil robots. Its usually like Doctor Who meets Star Wars meets Indiana Jones. Now with the zookeeper, the guy in the alligator suit and the boxer ... I'm really going to relish this!
