Thor's Day Hero: Wayne Reynolds
We've had many artists come through these hallowed halls so far, actors, musicians, and filmmakers, but Wayne Reynolds is the first art artist. My own art days seem to be a thing of the past, but when I was in my prime I wish he had been around to draw inspiration from. Most of his work is now prominently featured in the many Pathfinder products out there but you'd be surprised where else his work might show up, including several military history books by Osprey Publishing. I count myself lucky enough to have a signed-to-me copy one of his prints; a large frost giant attacking an adventuring party.

I didn't remember his name until I checked his art, very talented man!
ReplyDeleteVery cool stuff indeed, cool enough to be a Thor's Day Hero! I really like how he does buckles too.
DeleteAbsolute legend.

DeleteWe talked about you while I was at GenCon, that one time. I picked out the frost giant print because it specifically reminded me of you.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it graces the game room walls. I've been meaning to do an "art of the game room" series for a while now just to give it its due.
