Deathwing Assault Terminators

Deathwing Assault Terminators of the Dark Angels First Company

Size: Five Man Squad
Leader: Terminator Sergeant
Wargear: Terminator armor, Lightning Claws
Special Equipment: Thunder Hammer, Storm Shield
Naming Convention: Harbinger sounds foreboding enough, and frankly I didn't feel like googling for Latin equivalents of 'doom'...

Due to a slight codex mix up of old, this other termie squad had an oddball trooper, well the Storm Bolter figure above will pull the old switcharoo with the Lightning Claw trooper and harmonial balance will once again be achieved.

When I put these guys together, I think the decision to go with marine scout heads and other bare marine heads was a good one. I like the overall look.

One of these marines is not like the others...

Here's the "official" squad as they'll be fielded on the tabletop. Obviously that little fella (literally) hiding in the back is my older 2nd edition termie, but there's not a whole lot I can do about it, he's part of the squad, regardless of the age of his armor. I have a feeling that he'll be the first casualty removed each time however, haha.

  1. They are looking awesome mate, and the older Termi does not look too out of place amongst his older brethren.

I'm interested to know why you painted your Deathwing more white than is usual, its an interesting look which works well!

  2. There was a White Dwarf battle not too long ago with Deathwing vs. Orks, and I remember thinking their termies looked downright yellow. We've got a Dreadnought up next, and I'll almost be done, woohoo!

  5. Really nice man, I tried the white on a tactical marine, but felt it looked too "white scars" so I've leaned more towards the cream. However.. my termies are only base coated!

I get dead jealous at everyones briliant ability to paint, you and sovietspace to name just 2.
    Gits :P
