We're currently not (nor have we been) playing WM/Hordes, so it's hard to say I'm "sold" on this faction, but that's not to say I'm not interested. I've always liked the system, and most peeps still have their models, so who knows? Add in the fact that a large portion of these guys will more than likely be plastic, and they've got great looking alien 'jacks and even cooler character models, if I had to pick, it'd be this faction for sure.
Nice pics! Question: is Privateer going to plastics? I thought all their models were metal, though I have been out of it for a while. It would be nice if they were plastic. The lower model cost would sure help. Are there rumors of a change?
ReplyDeleteYes, that's the biggest rumor I guess, the majority of these models (and future MkII releases) will be in plastic. Certainly the new 'jacks will be plastic to allow for different configurations and such. I imagine many of the troops will be plastic too, reserving metal for characters and solos, etc. I've been out of it for a while too, but this has piqued my interest certainly.
