Aspiring Druid

I don't have shapeshifting video, but how about a Kirk phermone filter?
"Now that you are an aspiring Druid, can you please take photos of your scimitar, animal companion and some video of you using the shape-shifting ability? That would be awesome." -Christian
Did you guys and gals out there know I do requests here at Mik's Minis? Well, it's true, I do! Dual-blog writing, fellow gamer, fellow teacher, surfer, chef guru, and one-time runner of Scrollworks Press back in the day (he was the only person to ever commission a piece of my artwork), Christian, made said request, and who am I to let him down?

I was doing routine yard work and thinking to myself how much I enjoyed getting my hands 'earthy'. I had my animal companion present, and whereas I might not have had a scimitar, these garden shears were the next best thing! My wife remarked how I was wearing all green, and then it hit me, Aspiring Druid, of course! The real trick was convincing her to take the photo after I dashed inside to get the camera. Good thing she's used to my antics.

  2. I'll give it 4 out of 5 leaves - you should have taken off socks/shoes for the full druidic effect. ;)

  3. @Derina: Ha, didn't even think about that. I dunno, she's got enough tangles I just may shear her!

@Tristan: Well, my shoes are green...and they're made out of hemp, that's gotta count for something!

  4. I have a pair of Adidas' made out of hemp! But my toes are starting to stick out the sides, so they have been relegated to lawn-mowing and gardening shoe status.

  5. Dog: "Rhis ris embarrising ruid!"

    J/k

(That's my lame attempt to try to spell out Scooby Doos talking :)

  6. @Chris: That's hilarious, because that's exactly what mine are now; yardwork and lawn-mowing shoes! I don't know about you, but I paid a lot of money for them too.

@25mmW: Ha! Nothing lame about it!
