I've been working on a backburner plan for some time; Space Dwarves (Squats, B'Dass, Grymn, Scrunts, what-have-you)! I've been soliciting the Barter Bucket over at Santa Cruz Warhammer for the last week or two as well, looking for pretty much anything that can pass as a "Space Dwarf", such as this fellow I got in the mail this week!
I'm not looking to go pure GW either, pretty much anything will do (though the originals are more than welcome). This excellent exo-armored Chaos Squat shown here came from the unwanted bowels of somebody's bits bin! So please forgive this, my unabashed and shameless plug to put the word out to the community for some more of the sci-fi short folk!
I wish I had some for you but alas the Bitz box is empty :(
ReplyDeleteI have nothing to donate but enthusiasm. 2011 shall be the Year of the Squat!
ReplyDeleteI'm donating my enthusiasm too!
ReplyDeleteHungry Ghosts has some links for minis in his right-hand column, and Olley's looks like the best bet, if you've not already thought of that.

@Porky: I am looking at Scrunts, but a lot of the range is conspicuously absent right now for some odd reason. Love the link, Hungry Ghosts has the right idea and if I didn't have a label cloud below the size of Michigan I might be able to focus my efforts a bit more like that.
ReplyDelete@Meatball and KGreen: I'll take whatever I can get, if it's well-wishes and enthusiasm then so be it!
Glad to see he's found a good home! :)
ReplyDeleteYou may call me biased, but the best squat types of all time are Olley's Texan Scrunts. I mean how can you go wrong with short ZZ Top dudes in space... with guns!
ReplyDeleteThanks Trent, he has!
ReplyDelete@Brian: They were on the top of my list...but they're not on the site! Good to hear from you by the way!
