Chuhuac 24-Hour Mark!

The title says is all! We're at the 24 hour countdown for the Space Raptors Kickstarter. The response to this 15mm project has been absolutely amazing, and of course it's simply overwhelming. We're pushing the 1000% percent mark as far as the initial goal is concerned so what does that mean?

Add-ons.  Lots of add-ons.  The initial goal of just getting the foot troops was reached easily, then we added special ops troops, troopers in assault poses, fast attack grav bikes, heavily armored battlesuits, a hover APC, and even a 28mm squad of troopers.

What's more, you can add these on as single code packs for small reinforcements or there are larger unit add-on packs with even more troopers (and a bit of a discount to boot).  All of this space raptor goodness is now going into the regular lineup of the Chuhuac post-Kickstarter.  The goal is they will all be made available through an online store with future releases further down the road.  There are no hard dates for that, however, this Kickstarter project ensures that you will get your initial orders in now, and these figs are projected to ship in January of 2013.

If you want a unique (and awesome) 15mm force, you can't go wrong with velociraptors in armor with guns.  Get a bunch to make an army, go for a few to stalk a starport.  Pick up some great APCs to taxi troops you already have.  Don't like 15mm in general?  The 28mm packs and sculpts were put into place just for you.  Either way, time is running out!

  2. So i was pleasantly surprised to see you part of this project, or i would have backed sooner. I'm glad though that you are offering the 28mm scale as well. What part are you at loud ninja games? Again when i found the project and backed it i didn't know you were with the company, lol.

  3. Mik is a design consultant for me.

He has proven invaluable in contributing to the design of the Chuhuac and planned future releases. He also provides a wealth of experience in the hobby that while not much longer than my own, is different and offers a different perspective on many things.

I really do not think LNG would be a healthy endeavor without input outside my own.

    2. Eli beat me to it, so I, umm, don't really have anything to add. Except it's funny watching him try to diplomatically turn down my more crazy ideas.
