Painting Desk Makeover

So I thought a makeover was in order to get the paint juices flowing once again. A lot of work went into the shelves above the desk, but I also overhauled the desk itself. I emptied it out, cleared it off, and put only about half the stuff back in it and on it.

The results? Well the paint slump is finally over; I've painted five figs so far*, started three other ones**, and have a nice and tidy (and drastically reduced) queue*** as well. More of this to come soon. Until then, enjoy!

*post due
**another post due
***yup, I'll do a post on this too

    1. Thanks Ian. I've got five completed 15mm sci-fi guys and three Infinity aliens about 75% done. More in the pipeline behind those.

  2. Just in time for your reaper order. I had an experience down at my grandparents house recently that has totally changed my organization drive myself.

    1. Ugh, don't remind me about Reaper! I hope your experience wasn't a bad one, but these inspirations come at us from all over, unexpectedly.

  3. Looks good. My desk is an uncivilized mishmash in my basement.

    1. Thanks Padré Spanky. I think most painting desks out there are in the same shape as yours!

  5. Beautiful to see! Meanwhile I'm trying to invent a way to get my whole painting kit into a suitcase.

    1. Dude, a special agent style suitcase paint kit would be awesome. Aluminum case, pop out brush and cup holders, the works...

    1. I don't know. Not being the most prolific of painters may help keep down the clutter? Nah, probably not!
